Two week Review: A six month check-up and four "children" later...

    Last week I missed my weekly posting because of a not so fun event at the Hall household.  I'll keep it short by saying little Max now has no bottom jaw and only molars on the bottom...but he's still a cutie!  He's such a good natured...resilient dog! We are praying that he recovers quickly.  In the meantime, I feel like a drug dealer because I am having to crush up four different medications and give them to him in yogurt.  I'm also having to puree dog food so that he can eat...so it's like I now have a fourth child. I keep repeating to myself that His grace is sufficient...in moments of weakness, He is my strength! Here are some of my favorite pictures of little Max:

Pictures from the past week...

This past week has been a LLLOOONNNGGGG one.  On Wednesday of last week, the stomach bug bit me hard.  I've had it three (YES THREE) times in the past year.  I must have some DNA make-up that makes me catch it every time.  I asked Jesus to come back, as I have grown accustomed to doing when I get this bug, but it's still not His timing.  I got better and then Matt got it Friday. To all my married friends out there...husband + sick= lets just say....interesting : )  Thankfully everybody else is healthy and all is well!!!! Looking forward to Cathie Kelly coming in town for a day or two this weekend! If you have time on your hands, go get Crazy Love by Francis Chan...OH MY SOUL it's amazing and totally changing my view of Christ and His love for all of us.  Have a great week and Happy St. Patrick's Day!! Six months...Oh my soul

So...The twins turned 6 months this past week.  Boy how time is flying! We haven't had their six month check-up yet, so I have not idea about their weight, height, etc.  More to come on that next week.  As far as notable things that have occurred this past month:
* Shephard's first tooth arrived on February 21...the second came in on the 28
* Sawyers first two teeth came in yesterday...technically a day past six months : )
* Both boys are starting the beginning stages of crawling...I'm quite nervous about them being off to the races once that begins.  I remember with Sanders that crawling= the beginning of me teaching him "NO." A word that Sanders loves to this day.
* Solids have been started.  We illegally have been putting oatmeal in their bottles since four weeks...shh don't tell the pediatrician. I'll usually try giving them some food for dinner, before Matt gets home, to keep them happy and sane during that "witching hour."
*The last nap of the day is pretty much cut out.  The time change has helped with this.  I have been letting them sleep a little longer for their second nap, so this has helped in the process.
* My house seems to be getting messier and messier lately...and I'm trying not to care so much.  Every day I'm falling in love more and more with each of my boys!

Spring is in the Air

   Spring is in the air!  I absolutely LOVE cold weather...and thought I was really sad to see it go.  That is, until I realized how much Sanders loves the outdoors- He says "outside, outside" constantly throughout the day.  So, with the temps warming up, my days have gotten so much more...refreshing.  We are able to venture outside of the cave to get some much needed Vitamin D.

LIFE SAVER!!! The past two weeks Sanders has really enjoyed coloring! This has helped me when I am feeding, cooking dinner, etc : )

One day while it was raining, I decided to let Sanders play in the puddles.  We both had a lot of fun outside...and inside cleaning up.  I told him that when it rains and it's not cold, then we can run and slide in the puddles.  I love my boys!!!

My friends Kelsey, from Spokane,  came for a visit...the kiddos loved her!!

  This past week Matt was able to stay home some on Saturday, which made my sanity as a human increase tremendously.  He took Sanders to get doughnuts while I stayed at home with the munchkins. I put them down for a nap just in time for Matt and Sanders to return.  We had a lot of fun playing basketball, playing with sidewalk chalk and picking up random things to throw back down on the ground.  I'm guessing the last thing is just what boys like to do.  It was a day I would love to bottle up and keep forever- I love it when we are all together and able to spend time as a family.  Sanders loves his dad so much and I just had to stop and take all of it in...thinking and thanking God how much He has blessed our family.
